Organisers call heats on the cleanest swell days rather than to a fixed daily schedule, so some days inside the window run nothing at all. There is an infinity pool, a cave pool, a roofdeck, a coworking space for anyone filing the same day, and the lagoons and island hops within reach.

Heats will not run on every day of the window. When the forecast goes flat there is an infinity pool, a cave pool, a roofdeck, and the lagoons and island hops within reach. A waiting period is a great deal easier from a property you actually want to be at.


The cave pool is open to visitors as well as guests, so if you are staying elsewhere on the island you are still welcome to spend the day here.

  • Does the offer cover the finals?

    Yes. The stay period runs to 10 November, the last day of the competition window, so every night of the waiting period is covered. The finals date is called a few days ahead, and wherever it lands, your 45% holds. One catch: bookings close on 1 November, so the discount has to be locked in before the window is halfway through.

  • Can I cancel if my plans change?

    The Philippines Pro runs from 31 October to 10 November 2026 at Cloud 9 in General Luna. Heats are called on the best swell days inside that window rather than to a fixed daily schedule, and the finals usually fall toward the end.

  • What happened to the Siargao International Surfing Cup?

    It became a Championship Tour stop in July 2026 and was renamed the Philippines Pro presented by the Philippine Sports Commission, for both the 2026 and 2027 seasons. Same reef, same island, bigger event.

  • Where can I watch the competition?

    From the Cloud 9 boardwalk. Viewing has always been free, and the boardwalk towers are being rebuilt ahead of the contest with a new watchtower planned as the main viewing platform.

  • Where should I stay for WSL Siargao?

    As close to Cloud 9 as you can book, and as early as you can manage. Hue Siargao is on Tourism Road in General Luna, minutes from the break, with a shuttle to the boardwalk on competition days.

  • How many nights should I book?

    Three at a minimum, and a week if you can. Because the finals date is only confirmed a few days ahead, a longer stay is the only reliable way to catch the rounds that decide the event.

  • Who is competing at Cloud 9?

    A reduced late season field of 24 men and 16 women, all still in the World Title race, plus event wildcards awarded through a trials event held at Cloud 9 beforehand.

  • How do I get to Siargao?

    Sayak Airport serves the island with routes through Cebu, Clark, and Davao, and the transfer to General Luna takes about an hour. Seats and fares tighten sharply for the competition period, so book flights alongside your room.
